Introduction

Muslim patients who plan to observe the fasting of the month of Ramadan may seek medical advice on various issues such as the potential risk of fasting on their disease, what precautions and recommendations they should follow to minimize any harm, and what they should do about their medications. This chapter will present the most commonly used medications and the recommendations for them during Ramadan.
